First of all: Happy New Year!
I know, it is a bit late but it is still January so I’m okay 😉
As you may have noticed, I have been a bit MIA since the beginning of December. If you follow me on Instagram, you know that this is because I travelled (a lot) over the holidays.
To sum things up, I went back to France for Christmas. Three years since I left for Canada and never really went back. We obviously had a lot of people to see, a lot of places to go and a lot of food to eat!
First, I went for a girls’ weekend in Annecy. Food, shopping, spa. What else? It was super relaxed and a great time to catch up. My friend also got me a very cool pre-wedding present: she gifted me a wedding advent calendar. One gift every day from June 1st to the wedding day. How cool? I can’t wait to start discovering what she put inside!
Then, we went to Paris for 5 days. Again: food, shopping and spa. And Christmas! It was fun to visit Paris as tourists (we lived there for 2 years but that seems like ages ago now!). We went to see the Christmas decorations (I mean, obviously!) and also visited the Louvre museum. I also seized the opportunity to buy my first ever YSL item. I’ll talk about it in another post ;). On Christmas Eve we flew from Paris to Toulouse to celebrate Christmas with Mister’s family. Once again, a lot of food!
From December 27th to 30th we went to Barcelona. Neither of us had ever been so it was great discovering this city that everybody seems to love. And I must say that the weather helped too (17ºC. In December!). We stayed in an AirBnB very close to the Sagrada Familia and it was perfect. Pretty calm neighbourhood (people go there to visit the cathedral, not clubbing), walking distance from almost everything and also close to 2 metro stations. I highly recommend if you plan on going there! Finally, a quick 2 days in Lyon to celebrate New Year Eve with friends and it was already time to come back to Montreal.
So yeah, I took a month break but I am now ready for 2017 and I have a feeling it will be an interesting one! I have plenty of projects both personals and for the blog. You’ll probably see more diverse content on here. Always linked to things I love and mostly bags (obviously). But, this year, I want this blog to be a place where I share everything I love without setting myself some boundaries. Hope you’ll like it and will continue to follow me here!
